Our Journey of Prayer

Hi, I'm a Christian mom to four amazing children—A (15), H (13), D (11), and S (8). For years, my husband and I have been praying for our kids, exactly how we learned from our own parents.  I’ll admit after many years of prayer, I was surprised when I didn’t see God’s presence in their lives as I expected. I was even more surprised when I noticed they were drifting away. It wasn’t until I realized that I hadn’t been giving 100% of what I could—truly investing in their spiritual growth—that I understood the gap. My husband and I both felt like we had failed them. Now, we’ve taken our faith a step further and are not just praying for them, but with them. Through this blog, I want to share our journey of deepening our faith and building a strong foundation of prayer in our home, one moment at a time. My goal is to raise to strengthen our family’s bond with GOD through prayer!

Last year GOD has worked in our lives and has showed us that we need change. It was a painful experience for us last year which led us to decide to start from scratch. We started to sit down for 30 min a day to read the bible and pray. Now, we are learning to not only pray for them, but with them, teaching them to connect with God daily. This blog is my way of documenting this journey and sharing it in the hopes of encouraging other parents to take the time to teach their children, to pray with them, and to grow together in faith.
